Located towards the eastern end of Lincoln Road mall, Nespresso is a very simply idea- offering premium coffee in a café setting while highlighting the power of their machines. While it may appear mostly to be a marketing gimmick, Nespresso Café offers a very low key relaxing experience not unlike that of a local coffee house but in a much more upscale setting.
The main draw of Nespresso is its menu of designer coffee not offered in places like Starbucks. Drinks such as Dulce de Leche populate the menu along with simple espressos made from a variety of different blends. Served either cold or hot, the drinks are large enough to share with two people which are good for the rather hefty price of $7-$8 for the more alluring drinks. Nespresso does offers food but its rather quite expensive for what it is and should generally be avoided as the coffee is the real focus though the sandwich selection seems decent if one is really in mood for one.
Overall Espresso offers a chic approach to coffee and décor that makes it unique from the many coffee places that litter Lincoln mall. All the drinks are freshly brewed and the mere smell wakes one up though the prices might do that as well. Yet like a coffee place, the servers do not rush you out the door and one can presumably spend a good portion of the afternoon idling watching people go to and fro from one store to another.
