If you happen to find yourself in Stamford, CT in the spring, remember along with the warm weather comes a slew of activities hosted by the city of Stamford. Most notable among these is Alive at 5, a weekly Thursday event that hosts a lineup of various musicians. These include The Wall Flowers, Bret Michicals and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and cover a variety of different musical genres with no one week being the same.

Concerts often go from 5pm to about 8pm, depending on the band. Alive at 5, hosted at Columbus Park, is the place to be during the summer as Stamford Downtown produces great music, great dancing and great times! Drinking is allowed for those above the age of 21 and no minors are allowed in after 7pm but are allowed in any time before.
