It’s exciting, enlightening and exhausting. It showcases the latest developments in how medical professionals peer inside the human body. It’s a time to meet old friends and make new ones. It’s Chicago in November and it’s cold. Nevertheless imaging specialists of every stripe gather at RSNA every year to learn about the newest and best that radiology has to offer. And this year was no exception. Major trends included a greater emphasis on software compared to hardware, a focus on the patient and patient-centered imaging, analytics and predictive learning and 3-D printing – to name a few.
